Wednesday, March 8, 2017 – IBM Corporation will host its annual global Technology Leadership Exchange (TLE) for 2017 from its company facilities located in Markham, Ontario, Canada.

This TLE Canada event is being sponsored by Pat Horgan, Vice President, Manufacturing, Developing and Operations and by the Academy of Technology (AoT) affiliate: Canadian Academy of Technology Affiliate (CATA).

TLE Canada consists of 16 live sessions with varied break out topics live at the IBM Canada Headquarters and broadcast to IBM audiences world-wide.  This highly interactive event consists of:

Michael J Martin will deliver one of the primary general session presentations focused on network and related services used for designing and implementing the Internet of Things (IoT) for industrial applications.  This talk is entitled: Edge IoT:Where Data Comes Alive!

In addition, he will collaborate on a second primary general session presentation with two of his esteemed colleagues, Richard MacDonald, Distinguished Engineer and Raj Cherchattil, CTO for Telecom, Media, and Entertainment on a topic highlighting cognitive computing for IoT and how it is being used in Canada.  This talk is entitled: IoT Landscape in Canada: An Industry Perspective

The staff audience in the auditorium is expected to be about 300 personnel and the online audience watching the live web stream worldwide is expected to number over 8,000.  This is an internal communications event to share with IBMers the latest technologies and advances available and to help all IBMers stay current with the emerging technologies and solution trends.
